My name is Megan Bergan and I am the owner and licensed insurance advisor of Insurance Jig- Megan Bergan Agency LLC. I specialize in educating people on how their health insurance and Medicare plans work. My top priority is helping clients navigate their insurance options to find the best plan for their needs. I am a South Dakota native and grew up in Mitchell. I moved to the Black Hills and graduated college from Black Hills State University in 2007 with a bachelor's degree in business administration, double minor in Entrepreneurship and Managment. I love the hills and all they offer! I began my career in the insurance industry in 2011 and love what I do!
In my free time I enjoy being in the outdoors, hiking, fishing, camping, and playing sports with my husband, Ted, two sons, and our pup Olaf.

Since starting my insurance career, I have gotten married and traveled to many beautiful places. I am very grateful to live such a beautiful life with my husband, Garrett, and our animals.

Steph Salazar
LICENSED AGENT- Health & Medicare Specialist
My name is Stephanie Salazar and I joined the Insurance Jig, of the Megan Bergan Agency, LLC, in April 2024. During 2019-2020 it became evident to me that healthcare would become one of the most important and challenging areas for people to navigate going forward into the future. With more than 30 years of experience serving communities and businesses as a consultant, project manager, organizational developer and strategic planner, my interest about healthcare, and especially Medicare, convinced me to change career paths and focus on how to serve individuals with their needs in healthcare.
Since 1988 my husband and I have lived in-and-out of South Dakota in Rapid City, and then moved to Spearfish in 2015 where we have made this our home. I have a heritage that began in Lead, SD, where my great-grandfather, and grandmother were born, and my husband, Frank, is fascinated with the history of the area.
Work-life balance is important to us, and when we are not working, we enjoy music, kayaking, hiking, swimming and travel.
